Integration Architect with a focus on Boomi

We are now seeking an experienced Integration Architect with a focus on Boomi to join Vitrolife group. This is a key role where you’ll be shaping the future of our integration landscape across a growing global organization.
About the Role
As an Integration Architect, you will lead the architectural design and evolution of our integration solutions. You’ll work closely with developers, application managers, business stakeholders, and vendors to design scalable, secure, and efficient integrations that connect critical systems across our business units.
You will not only take ownership of solution architecture and integration strategy but also contribute hands-on when needed, especially in complex or business-critical integrations. You will play a central role in building up and maturing our Integration Center, driving both standardization and innovation in how we work with integration technologies.
- Key Responsibilities
Define, design, and govern scalable integration architectures using Boomi and other tools
- Lead strategic initiatives within integration, including standardization, documentation, and future platform evolution
- Act as an advisor and mentor to integration developers and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate across teams to translate business needs into well-architected technical solutions
- Ensure integrations are built and maintained according to security, quality, and performance best practices
- Contribute to hands-on development and solution implementation when necessary
- Promote API-first and event-driven architecture principles
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a relevant university degree and 5+ years of experience as an Integration Architect or senior integration developer
- Has proven experience with Boomi and solid understanding of IPaaS platforms
- Understands API design and management (REST, OpenAPI), and EDI format EDIFACT
- Has experience with Power Apps, MSSQL, and ERP systems (Jeeves and Dynamics is a plus)
- Is comfortable leading discussions and presenting architectures to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Is fluent in English (Swedish and Spanish is a plus), and skilled in documenting and communicating complex solutions
- Has strong security awareness in handling sensitive data and system integrations
- Meriting Experience
- Leadership in architecture teams or projects
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Git, automated testing)
- Understanding of container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud and hybrid infrastructures
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, Salesforce, and healthcare interoperability standards
- Background in agile/scrum development environments
