As Head of PMO (Innovation) at Vitrolife Group, you will play a key global role in shaping and optimising our project management function, ensuring alignment with our strategic business goals.

Reporting to our Vice President Strategy & Sustainability, you will preferably be based in Gothenburg, Valencia, or Aarhus, with travel to our global sites as part of the role.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of a global project management infrastructure, standardising methodologies to enhance project execution, resource allocation, and financial tracking.
- Develop and establish project governance frameworks to ensure consistency across functions and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to improve project prioritisation, execution methodologies, and performance monitoring, utilising tools like Power BI.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, ensuring efficiency and best-practice adoption, working in regulated environments.
- Act as a strategic advisor and key contact for project managers worldwide, fostering alignment and strengthening the PMO function, with a strong focus on Innovation.

Together with also being a pro-active, analytical and strategic problem-solver, with experience from cross-functional collaboration, you bring:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in project management, PMO leadership, or a similar role within a global organisation.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive change and engage teams across multiple locations.
- Expertise in project governance, resource planning, and prioritisation, with a strong track record of technical expertise in implementing and standardising project management tools.
- Advanced Power BI skills for dashboard creation and performance monitoring, as well as experience with Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tools such as PPM Express or PPM Pro.
- Knowledge of Toll Gate (TG) processes, design reviews, and product development cycles.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish, Swedish, or Danish is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
- Experience in MedTech or life sciences, particularly within R&D-driven organisations and regulated environments (e.g., MDR/IVDR, FDA 510k, De Novo pathways, CLSI guidelines).
- Strong background in digital transformation initiatives related to project management.
- Experience leading multi-site, multinational teams.
