Accounting Manager Sweden

We are looking for an Accounting Manager for the entities managed by Vitrolife Sweden. We offer you an exiting role, where you will be a key person at our Headquarter and production site in Gothenburg and at the same time act in a international environment.

In the role you will be overall responsible for the Accounting, Reporting & Compliance of the legal entities within your responsibility. It includes hands on daily accounting activities, analysis and coordination, performing closings and reporting, coordinate with internal and external accounting services.

This is a go-to role with a broad network and many interactions in the organization. You need to be curious, unpretentious and enjoy the shift between holistic view and hands on details. You enjoy to continuously work with process and routine efficiencies.

Main responsibilities:

• Lead, coordinate and prepare Monthly-, Quarterly and Yearly closing & reporting
• Statutory Accounts & Compliance
• Financial Statements Analysis
• Lead and coordinate daily accounting activities and reconciliations
• Accounts receivable & Accounts Payable, payroll, intercompany
• Training and onboarding of new people in the organization in Finance processes
• Taxes, VAT and filings
• Process & routine improvements, digitization & simplification
• Contact person for Authorities and Auditors
• Key contact for our business operations onsite and for the entities within your responsibility

Competencies and skills:

• Master in Finance Admin or similar
• Swedish GAAP and Tax Accounting regulation
• Several years of experience from a similar role of from audit
• Experience in continuous process improvements, knows how to prioritize to deliver an efficient and compliant closing process
• Interest in Finance systems & tools
• Excellent excel skills
• Communicative
• Naturally takes a leading or coordinating role
• Problem solving and solution oriented
• High sense of Customer/Stakeholder service management
• Enjoy working close to business operations
• Fluent in Swedish and English, verbally and in writing

This is an onsite role in Gothenburg.
