Responsabilities

As an IT Operations Specialist, you will report to the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Manager and take ownership of key operational tasks, including:

• Monitoring and managing IT infrastructure for optimal performance and availability.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, storage, and network issues.
• Implementing and maintaining robust security protocols to safeguard IT assets and data.
• Collaborating with application owners to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot application infrastructure.
• Keeping systems secure and up to date with regular updates and patches.
• Providing advanced troubleshooting support to the ServiceDesk.
• Documenting IT processes to ensure compliance with internal standards.

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in systems and network operations.
• Proven track record managing virtualized environments.
• Demonstrated experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.
• Automation of IT tasks through scripting.
• Hands-on experience in implementing security measures and managing cybersecurity incidents.
• Experience planning and executing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
• Technical documentation expertise.

Competencies and Skills

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge in operating system administration (Windows, Linux)
• Experience in network management and configuration (LAN, WAN, VPN)
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools (PRTG, OPManager or Similar)
• Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash)
• Ability to manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Knowledge in information security and cybersecurity practices
• Ability to work in high availability and disaster recovery environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
