*We follow a hybrid work model, which requires employees to come to the Valencia office on a regular basis.
Responsabilities
As an IT Operations Specialist, you will report to the Infrastructure and Cybersecurity Manager and take ownership of key operational tasks, including:
- Monitoring and managing IT infrastructure for optimal performance and availability.
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, storage, and network issues.
- Implementing and maintaining robust security protocols to safeguard IT assets and data.
- Collaborating with application owners to set up, maintain, and troubleshoot application infrastructure.
- Keeping systems secure and up to date with regular updates and patches.
- Providing advanced troubleshooting support to the ServiceDesk.
- Documenting IT processes to ensure compliance with internal standards.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in systems and network operations.
- Proven track record managing virtualized environments.
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Automation of IT tasks through scripting.
- Hands-on experience in implementing security measures and managing cybersecurity incidents.
- Experience planning and executing disaster recovery and high-availability solutions.
- Technical documentation expertise.
Competencies and Skills
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge in operating system administration (Windows, Linux)
- Experience in network management and configuration (LAN, WAN, VPN)
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools (PRTG, OPManager or Similar)
- Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash)
- Ability to manage and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Knowledge in information security and cybersecurity practices
- Ability to work in high availability and disaster recovery environments.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Other Information:
