About the Role As our Information Security Specialist, you will work closely with the Information Security Manager to protect data, software, and hardware while ensuring compliance with both internal standards and external regulations. Your expertise will contribute to building robust systems, improving processes, and enhancing organizational security awareness.

Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Management: From a regulatory requirements aspect, being an advisor from a technical and procedural aspect, analyze systems for security improvements. Responsible for the processes and methods to support these activities.
- Audit Management: Act as the primary contact for IT audits and coordinator. Evaluate IT supplier security and compliance. Responsible for the supplier assessment process.
- Training & Awareness: Oversee information security nano-learning initiatives and track progress.
- Incident Management: Take on the role of incident manager when required and follow up on security incidents.
- Customer Assessment: Respond to customer inquiries about information security and compliance. Improve the process for customer inquiries.
- System Validation: Being an advisor on validation strategies and scope for computerized systems in a medical device context. Drive validation process and methodologies to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in information security, risk management, IT security, IT audit and IT compliance.
- Strong technical knowledge and IT background.
- Knowledge about regulations and standards such as ISO27001, NIS2, GDPR, Cybersecurity Resilience Act, Data privacy regulations and Medical Device Directive.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English; Spanish is a plus.
- Self-driven, structured, and able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization.
- Certifications e.g. CISSP, CISM, CIPT, ISO27001, COBIT in information security are a bonus, but a willingness to learn and grow is more important.
This position is based in Gothenburg and offers a hybrid work model with one workday from home per week.
