IT Support Technician Valencia

Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Tier 1/Tier 2 IT Support Technician to join our Valencia office and become a key part of our global IT team. In this role, you will be the onsite go-to IT support expert for local users while also assisting colleagues in other locations globally. Reporting to the IT Service Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining seamless IT operations processes and supporting global IT projects.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- User Management
- Onboard and offboard employees efficiently.
- Procure, configure, and deploy IT equipment.
- Assign roles, groups, licenses, and policies.
- Daily Support
- Resolve hardware/software issues (computers, monitors, printers).
- Address Microsoft account and VOIP phone system concerns.
- Infrastructure Maintenance
- Maintain conference room video conferencing systems.
- Manage network switches, patching, and VLAN assignments.
- Ensure UPS power backup systems function properly.
- Vendor Coordination
- Arrange and order service/maintenance for copiers, printers, and peripherals.
- Handle IT materials procurement and warranty claims.
- Remote Support
- Assist off-site staff with remote/home office needs.
- Occasionally provide after-hours support when necessary.
- Other Tasks
- Periodically submit work reports as required.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
Competencies – what we are looking for
Required Technical Skills:
- Active Directory, Azure, Intune, Autopilot, EntraID
- ODBC, Macros, VMware Workstation, Citrix Workspace
- RDP, TeamViewer, Apple Business Manager, Samsung Knox
- Zebra Printers
Required Attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
Experience:
- 2+ years in IT service/technical support roles preferred.
- Experience working independently with guidance from a remote management and team
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to travel if required.
- Flexibility for occasional after-hours work.
This position offers one day hybrid work model, but preferable on-site all days. Please note that it is required to come to our office in Valencia.
